Intense Storms Move through Great Lakes/ Midwest Region

The Storm Prediction Center is predicting the potential for severe thunderstorms with damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes over portions of the upper Midwest and Great Lakes region today through tonight. There is an Enhanced Risk of severe thunderstorms in the area. Straight-line wind gusts of 75 mph or higher are possible across portions of Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. With the storms continuing eastward the severe weather risk will extend later this evening into northern and western Pennsylvania and western New York overnight.
