Mapped and analyzed the exposure and sensitivity of ecosystems and socioeconomic
sectors (population, infrastructure, and economic activities) to the impacts of coastal
hazards (e.g. Risk and Vulnerability Assessment Tool, http://www.csc.noaa.gov/rvat)
Developed emergency management tools such as HURREVAC: A Quick Reference Guide,
which is used by emergency managers to map predicted inland flooding
Developed the Weather and Hazards Data Viewer. Emergency managers use this tool
during fire response to track wind speed and direction during coastal storms to view
rainfall forecasts (http://www.csc.noaa.gov/digitalcoast/action/hazards/hazplan.html).
