As coral reef ecosystems are threatened, more reef managers are realizing the need to be proactive and develop reef management strategies. Although stressors such as the rate and extent of climate change are paramount to determining the fate of coral reefs, reef managers can maximize the resilience of reefs to coral bleaching events.
IMSG's experience with sea surface temperature products and analysis, as well as comprehensive studies on coral mortality, allows us to help diagnose ecological, social, and economic impacts to coral reefs, as well as the communities that depend upon them.
