Grants Management: IMSG has developed and operated Grants Management systems in support of the Federal Financial Assistance Management Act and the Grants Management Line of Business. Customers include NOAA, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration. NOAA’s Grants-on-Line was the first to interoperate with Grants.gov.
Knowledge Management: IMSG has developed and managed systems that enable collaboration, including file sharing and, specialized chat rooms, and enforces business rules associated with workflow management. Implementing systems such as SharePoint and/or our comprehensive in-house product, IME, can leverage and customize capabilities, depending on customer requirements.
Portfolio Management: IMSG has developed and managed services for large contracts that manage the overall project portfolio, including file sharing, resource management, report generation and authorization, and financial management. IMSG’s IME has been customized to support contracts at NOAA’s Environmental Satellite Service and National Ocean Service.
Field Data Collection Systems: IMSG provides mobile data collection platforms for MS Mobile PC and other platforms that use ruggedized field data collection tools with real - time validity checks, seamless metadata integration, and online communications to a central data repository.
Integrated Web Services: IMSG develops websites to serve as Internet portals for numerous public and Intranet site based on wide range of development platforms. These include Apache, as well as major commercial platforms such as Microsoft IIS and Sun’s Java System Web Server.
Hosting Services
IMSG provides FISMA-compliant hosting services at both our Dayton Facility and our collocation site at the MAE East Internet Hub in Sterling Virginia. We provide and manage all applications, required licenses, and network, and server infrastructure. Our highly available servers communicate over redundant network services.
Support Services
Security Services and Analysis: IMSG provides services that include Security Planning, Independent Certification, and Security Architecture.
Help Desk: IMSG provides services that include Call Center, Desk Top Support, Server, and Network Management. IMSG’s senior IT staff is IT Foundation-Certified and applies IT Services Management Best Practices in client support.
