Sean Lam, Vice President for International Programs and Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Lam is IMSG’s Vice President for International Programs and Chief Technology Officer. In this dual role, Mr. Lam is responsible for identifying future growth opportunities and leading IMSG’s efforts to expand its international business, as well as setting the company’s IT direction and strategy to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of IMSG’s business systems and infrastructure.

Mr. Lam began his IMSG career in 2000 and has broad experience in technical leadership, project management, software development and systems engineering. He has held a number of roles within the company, including Senior Systems Security Engineer, Senior Network Engineer and Program Manager.

As Program Manager, Mr. Lam oversaw several contracts with the Maritime Administration and supported the U.S. African Development Foundation (ADF) for seven years. In 2005, he worked with ADF to design and implement a secure network infrastructure for ADF offices across Africa with the latest telecommunication technologies.

Ryan Basinger, Director of Engineering

Mr. Basinger has been part of the IMSG team since 2003, first serving as a Senior Software Engineer and moving into his current position as Director of Engineering. Mr. Basinger is responsible for IMSG’s compliance with software engineering and quality standards, the infusion of new technologies and the direction of the Software Engineering and IT Services teams.
