Research Scientist

IMSG seeks one full-time permanent Research Scientist to work at NOAA in Camp Springs, MD.  Will provide hurricane modeling support.  Duties:  developing, testing, evaluating, and maintaining a state-of-the-art hurricane forecasting system.  Requirements:  Master’s degree in Meteorology or other applicable science field with 1 year work experience in atmospheric models and tropical meteorology in an operational computing environment.  Salary range is $67,342.40 - $72,342.40.  Please mail cover letter, resume, and salary requirements to:  IMSG, 3206 Tower Oaks Boulevard, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852, Attn: HR.
