Research Oceanographer

ISMG seeks one full-time permanent Research Oceanographer to work at NOAA in Camp Springs, MD.  Will support Ocean Wave Forecasting project within the EMC of the NCEP.  Duties: developing, testing, and evaluating a state-of-the-art ocean and ocean wave forecasting system.  Requirements:  Master’s degree in Natural Science field with 1 year work experience plus analytical skills in the areas of natural science, ocean wave models, and dynamic oceanography.  The computer skills to work within the framework of these systems is a plus.  Salary range is $70,608.00 - $75,608.00.  Please mail cover letter, resume, and salary requirements to:  IMSG, 3206 Tower Oaks Boulevard, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852, Attn: HR.
