LAN Administrator/Deltek Technical Support Specialist

I.M. Systems Group, Inc. (IMSG) (www.imsg.com) a Federal government contractor is looking to hire a LAN Administrator and Deltek Desktop Support Specialist.  This is a full-time position that will be based in our corporate office in Rockville, Maryland.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• LAN administration (including backup, user account management, e-mail systems, internet access, Desktop support, office systems and applications support).
• Desktop hardware, Printers, software and applications support (Deltek GCS, Deltek T&E and Impromptu)
• Develops and maintains documentation of infrastructure.
• Rolls out hardware and software updates to ensure optimal deployment of resources.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or Related fields.
• Microsoft certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated skills to manage Deltek products is required.  Candidates lacking Deltek experience will not be considered.
• Deltek GCS and T&E certification and training is a plus.
• 3 years and current experience as an Administrator on a small/medium sized network of servers, desktop systems and communications devices using current technologies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Windows servers and desktop products.
• Demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting.
• Skilled in backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of current communications devices and protocols, server and desktop technologies.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL a plus.
• Working knowledge of SAN systems is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint a plus.
• Highly developed verbal and written communications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to carry IT related equipment’s up to 50 pounds.
• Independent ability to use good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
